The Tinos Virtual Museum (TVM) develops a dynamic framework of outreach actions, aiming to preserve and highlight the cultural heritage of the island. Through exhibitions, educational initiatives, and interactive programs, it strengthens the local community and encourages the active participation of both visitors and residents in shaping the island’s cultural identity.
A particular emphasis is placed on the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, by collecting and showcasing personal narratives, folklore, and memories connected to Tinos’ history. At the same time, through guided tours, lectures, and events in historical sites, TVM builds bridges between tradition and contemporary museum experiences.
By pursuing an interdisciplinary approach and fostering a shared cultural dialogue, TVM serves as a cultural hub, promoting a hands-on connection with the island’s history and artistic creativity.
