HANDCRAFTED PAPER STORIES
The educational workshop "Handcrafted Paper Stories" was first held on August 19-23, 2022, in a specially designed space at the Tinos Virtual Museum (TVM) in Chora, Tinos. This creative workshop invited participants to explore the magic of paper through processes that foster imagination and reuse.
As part of the workshop, participants had the opportunity to repurpose old materials such as newspapers and magazines, transforming them into small handcrafted objects. Under the guidance of guest artists, they learned how to create handmade jewelry, baskets, plates, small turtle figurines, and various other creative objects using recycling techniques. The workshop served as an opportunity for participants to discover paper as a material and explore its endless artistic possibilities.
"Paper Stories" goes beyond simple crafting—it encourages self-expression and collaboration, while offering a creative way to connect with environmental awareness. Using everyday and inexpensive materials, participants produce unique, handcrafted objects, each carrying the stamp of personal creativity and ecological sensitivity.
